Daisy Chain

On Wednesday 25th May a group of Year 6 children visited Crooksbarn Primary to take part in a Daisy Chain cricket competition. The twelve children battled through some tough matches. The children were very encouraging towards each other and grew as a team throughout the afternoon. All children tried their best and didn’t gave up. The children showed great sportsmanship and complemented each other and other teams when necessary.

Cricket Open

On Tuesday 17th May, a number of Year 6 children were selected to compete in the cricket open. The children played 6 cricket matches in total. The children were able to practise the skills taught in their PE lessons. All the children encouraged each other and cheered their team mates on throughout the day which resulted in a win! All the children tried their best throughout the day and enjoyed competing for the school. The children were a credit to the school, well done Year 6!


Billingham Cricket Club

On Wednesday 11th May, Year 5 children went to Billingham Cricket Club to compete in the cricket open. During the day the children played cricket matches against other schools from the Northfield and St Michaels cluster.  The children had a fantastic day and thoroughly enjoyed competing against others. All children were very well behaved, showed great team spirit, resilience and sportsmanship throughout the day. Fantastic team effort Billingham South!
