Sports Festival

KS1 have enjoyed an afternoon of fitness and fun at The Marsh House. The children joined several schools and took part in a variety of activities - running games, skipping, dancing, hoola hooping, balancing, frisbies and working as a team with a parachute.  The children did not realise how much physical work they were doing they were having so much fun!

NERAP Ambassadors

Y6 had a fantastic morning with Ambassadors from Newcastle University/NERAP (North East raising Aspiration Programme). The children participated in lots of fun workshops which helped them to understand life at university. By the end of the morning, almost all of Y6 decided they would love to aspire to be university students in the future.

Thank you to Becky and all the fabulous team.

Remembrance Sunday

Pupils, families and staff of Billingham South braved the chill to attended the Remembrance Day Parade in Station Rd. The school poppy wreath was laid by a KS2 representative. She did a fabulous job and was thanked by the Veterans.

We raised a fantastic £415 with our poppy sales. A HUGE Thank You to Mr West for all his hard work.

Children In Need

The grand total for Children in Need this year is an amazing £371.51, which beat last year’s total of £262.02. A HUGE Thank You for all your kind donations.
